ldquo;The Wall” – Pink Floyd – “The Wall” (1979)

"The proof is in the pudding."What does that mean?Do people eat a bag of pudding and so take this epiphany and say, "I`m convinced, God does exist, the proof is in the pudding."A little research/Google reveals that the master saying was "the validation of the pudding is in the eating."That definitely makes more sense. It would be similar if I had some friends over for dinner and decided to make durian pudding for dessert.

Across The Kitchen Table: Unlike John Lydon I Love Pink Floyd

pink_floyd-1033 Across The Kitchen Table: Unlike John Lydon I Love Pink Floyd
I've ever loved Pink Floyd and I don't think the hip Pink Floyd of the Syd Barrett days which is satisfactory to name drop without being laughed out the pub. That material is okay, well most of it but if you ask me the man could get done without Bike or Gnome; the material I know is the over blown pomposity of Dark Side of The Moon, The Fence and The Final Cut.

Thanks!Describe a role in fiction, a historic figure, or a creative work (as in art, music, science, etc. that has had an influence on you, and explain that influence. One song off Pink Floyd's 1973 concept album "Dark Face of the Moonlight" had a particularly powerful impact on my psyche.

This is the case of Fu Manchu (it makes no smell at all)

I never got lyrics. When I was a teenager, my reason of English was generally better than my peers, just because I spent so much time in the UK. No, scrap that. I only picked it up because my brain thought I was English - crossed synapses or something. Anyway - if I listened to the lyrics, I knew what they meant. I simply couldn't see them or remember them.
