After watching a picture on Facebook of Christy Moore and Declan Sinnott perform their interpretation of the song, I decided to pay it a go.
listened to a lively adaptation of the strain by Dave Gilmore ( see below ), pretty much sat in awe thru the 5 min. 25 second instrumental intro, and worked the chords from the part of the maiden sung verse.
Chords are not the handiest - Gm, F#, Bb, Eb, Dm, Cm, F, C, D, Edim, so you'll be pretty much deploying barre chords most of the way, but it is a slow tempo song, so ideal for anyone who wants to learn about new chords, practice playing songs with much of barre chords, and at the end of it all, be capable to run a classic Pink Floyd rock song on your guitar.
I've added my chords and lyrics version of "Glow On to my Rock Songs Guitar Chords page at Guitarsongs.info.
