Commentary and language of religious encouragement by Evans Liberal Politics owner Paul Evans:

"So. So you believe you can tell. Heaven from Hell. Blue sky from pain. Can you say a common area_ from a cold steel rail? A grin from a veil_. Do you remember you can tell?"

Well, as if losing internet for a while isn`t bad enough, right now I am suffering through a pretty bad type of bronchitis, so wear with me, please.

A lot has been said as to whether Pink Floyd is in some way "Satanic." I don`t really think so. They are a radical who was "on the edge," exploring and shaping the boundaries of progressive rock. This has long been my favorite video of theirs on YouTube, and a lot of you agree, since it has received over 48 million views.

Much of the hurt that exists, as I see it, in contemporary views of religion, lies in our attempting to set God and submit an opposite. Usually this is lighter and darkness. I simply can`t see trying to set God, or suppose we know what He is. I`ve read the Bible pretty thoroughly, too. Take for example John 1:1 - "God is life. In Him is no shadow at all."

Now, WHICH of those two sentences is meant literally and which figuratively? By the rules of logic, they cannot both be literally true, one is meant literally and the other figuratively. At this stage I might have a commentary that the Word is not filled with guile and the logos in the 1st sentence is IS. The second sentence, on the other hand, is speaking of the attributes of God, and power be interpreted more figuratively then.

Could God be life itself and so death be what is evil? Gott in Himmelblau (German, an exclamation: literally, "God in the dark of the sky,") how are we to live? The signal is, God hasn`t definitively shown us. I suppose if He had meant us to experience this, it wouldn`t have been that tough to break it. Or maybe it is something similar the Scripture passage (to paraphrase), "whatever is good, whatever is pure," etc.

I do believe it is the center of haughtiness to try as limited man to say we recognize and see God`s nature.

Far better to have a sacred human role model, such as Jesus, and model our lives that way. So it seems to me. God Bless you and thank you for winning the clock to learn this.
