The living members of Pink Floyd reunited at London's O2 Arena last night (May 12) for a rare collaboration, after swearing that they would never go again upon breaking up in the mid-80s. David Gilmour joined Roger Waters and Nick Mason for renditions of "Comfortably Numb" and "Outside the Wall.

Pink Floyd's drummer Nick Mason spoke to an invited crowd at Capitol Records' recording studios in Hollywood, after selections from the upcoming Pink Floyd reissues were played over an impressive sound system.

EMI is going whole hog with the the Pink Floyd catalog beginning Sept. 26, with the re-release of the band's 14 studio albums and a six-disc "Dark Side Of The Moon" box set .

I got a nice package through from Brave Mysteries the Wisconsin (USA) based label this week. I must comment on the velocity with which they send their stuff out, it is very impressive, if the jiffy bag didn't cause a postal mark saying Wisconsin USA on it I'd've thought it was posted within the UK.it was that quick!

Pink Floyd has been a high-school rite of transition for decades, but despite the steady influx of new fans, it's nevertheless the same old songs that soundtrack every hold-out planetarium laser light show. But this light the walls will eventually get down about the Pink Floyd vaults and fans will get to see a legion of never-released material via an extensive reissues campaign dubbed 'Why Pink Floyd.

The rare Stockholm 1967 Pink Floyd live recording is a real gem, although one can scarce see the vocals at all. Here is Radio Dupree's report from the Pink Floyd Happening at Gyllene Cirkeln (The Golden Circle) in Stockholm yesterday on Saturday May 7.

The mind was to get a public playback of the uncommon and uncirculated recording that Anders Lind made at Pink Floyd's first call in Sweden in September 1967.

This unique band who complete the days have been capable to make their own voice and path, who braved adversity and hardships - notably the destruction of Denis Piggy D`Amour in 2005 - are offering to their fans their first ever live show to have original members Denis "Snake" Belanger, Michel "Away" Langevin and Jean Yves "Blacky" Theriault, and new guitar player Daniel Mongrain, thus adding onto their impressive discography that spans close to three decades.

Glen Robinson, who is renown for his influence on `Nothingface`, recorded Voivod`s concert on December 12th 2009 at Club Soda in Montreal, the band`s adopted hometown. The concert was the first headline show in Montreal in over 10 days and was a free party for the DVD Tatsumaki Live In Japan, where they played both classics from the 80s and 90s and newer songs written with Jason Newsted of METALLICA fame, who joined Voivod on bass for 3 records, Voivod, Katorz and Infini.

On Warriors Of Ice, the listeners can hear Voivod`s more classical sound as they did on War And Hurt in 1984 or Angel Rat in 1991 as good as tracks from Infini, released in 2009. All of the band`s greatest hits can be ground on this record, everything from `Voivod` to `Nuclear War` and `Tribal Conversations` and yet their remake of early Pink FLOYD, `Astronomy Domine`, thus making this record a must-have for die-hard Voivod fans as good as a great introductory album for new fans in the making.

Voivod is presently on tour across Europe until late May and leave be coming second to North America but in time for the festival season. Tour dates to be announced shortly, stay tuned.
